Mirihi Island, Maldives, Extends Solo Offer Due to Summer Successes

Mirihi Island, Maldives, Provides a Haven for Solo Travellers

Mirihi Island, Maldives, is delighted to announce that following an impressive number of solo traveller bookings during its summer period, the island will be extending its Solo Travel offer until 20th December 2017.

With solo travel booming, Mirihi Island is harnessing the trend by removing the single supplements on rooms that often sting this market.

The private island of only 37 villas is a peaceful and safe haven for guests travelling alone.

Travellers looking to socialise and meet like-minded people can book sunset sailing trips, whale shark safaris, diving trips, visits to a local island, sessions tasting the most comprehensive selection of fine Rum in the whole of the Indian Ocean and can enjoy complimentary weekly beach cinemas, board games, table tennis, football and more.

Alternatively, guests can enjoy some time away from it all in their private water or beach villa, on a secluded beach, or whilst enjoying a pampering spa treatment.

Guests staying from 3rd to 10th December 2017 will also be treated to a yoga and meditation retreat with daily yoga and meditation sessions from a professional instructor.

The emerald gem oozes serenity and is surrounded and protected by a spectacular house reef with coral and fish in a myriad of colours; travellers can use the hotel’s complimentary snorkelling gear to watch the white and black tip reef sharks, octopuses and green turtles amongst others.

Mirihi Island is an intimate hotel with only 37 rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Guests will immediately feel at ease in the safe and beautiful environment. With sand covered floors throughout much of the hotel, guests can relax upon arrival where they will be encouraged to abandon their shoes and enjoy their stay barefoot with the powder-soft sand between their toes.

The special rate for single travellers from 1st October to 20th December 2017 is $380 (£295*) per room per night B&B plus 10% service charge, 12% GST and $6 green tax. Upgrades to half-board and full-board are available at $100 (£77*) and $120 (£93*) daily plus taxes and include breakfast/dinner and breakfast/lunch/dinner in the Dhonveli restaurant respectively.  For more information or to make a reservation visit www.mirihi.com or call +960 668 0500 or email [email protected]
