Next month a new arcade bar concept is coming directly to the heart of the capital in Soho, Berwick Street, following a £1.4m investment into the gaming brand by leisure investor Imbiba.
Promising to light up London’s nightlife this Spring, NQ64 will be bringing a mix of retro gaming, bespoke cocktails and the brand’s signature neon-filled aesthetic to provide the latest immersive experience for Londoners. With spray paint artwork that covers the walls and ceiling in the NQ64 signature street style that glows under UV lights, the venue is set to become an unmistakable attraction for party-goers in the capital.
Taking over the former Ballie Ballerson bar on Berwick Street, the Soho opening is NQ64’s eighth site in the UK, and will be welcoming the public at the end of next month, in perfect timing for a super jam-packed London summer. With a choice of over 30 original arcade games including Time Crisis, Guitar Hero, Dancing Stage and Pac-Man, and classic consoles, guests will be truly spoiled for choice during their visit. NQ64’s arcade machines take tokens, which can be purchased at the bar, and the consoles are free to use (as long as you’re buying drinks!).
Taking just as much pride in their fabulous bar selection alongside the classic game offerings, the adult-only venue will have a number of gamer-themed cocktails on offer such as Kirby, Donkey Kolada and the Aku Aku Fruit Punch (inspired by Crash Bandicoot), alongside a selection of craft beers, including some local favourites, wine, sodas and spirits. Once gamers are done taking a trip down memory lane they will be able to put their competitive spirit aside and take advantage of the huge spread of bar tables. Completing the classic nostalgia vibes, there will also be a DJ on most nights who will be injecting the ultimate old school Hip-Hop sounds.

We can’t wait to officially open our doors next month.”
NQ64 first opened in a back alley of the Northern Quarter back in 2019 and has since launched sites in Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Liverpool.
While the main bar is available for walk-ins, there are areas that can be booked if you’re coming in a larger group. The venue also has a private room filled with arcades and consoles for your party or event which will be available for bookings for 25-60 people. Opening hours will be Monday – Friday 3pm – 3am, Saturday 12pm until 3am, Sunday 12pm – 12am.
