CUERVO TRADICIONAL MARGARITA RUMBLE WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Nine Lives in London and El Taquero in Manchester have been awarded best margarita in town

A celebration of two major city’s best bars showcasing their most creative and contemporary Margarita serves returned for another successful year over the Bank Holiday weekend. As part of the Live Tradicional campaign, which celebrates drinkers creating their own traditions, ‘Cuervo Tradicional Margarita Rumble’ was hosted at London Fields Brewery and Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

Each city’s most celebrated bars battled it out for the prestigious title of Best Margarita in Town. This was a Margarita celebration like no other, where the public played the role of judges, sampling and voting for their favourite Margaritas.

From the hundreds of votes cast in both cities, Nine Lives clinched the sought-after title in London following an epic battle, beating stiff competition from the likes of Café Pacifico, Looking Glass Cocktail Club and 12:51. Their ‘No Mames Guay’ Margarita wowed the crowds with its fresh mix of sage, grapefruit and lime with hibiscus salt rim. In Manchester, El Taquero picked up first prize, fending off Lola Lo, Liquor Sore and Albatross & Arnold. Their winning Margarita – ‘Brisa de Aguacate’ – delivered a punchy blend of cucumber, avocado and chili.

Cuervo Tradicional Margarita Rumble is coming to Bristol Paintworks on 6th July, get your tickets here: https://www.bristolmargaritarumble.com/buy
