Rise in purchases of patterned outdoor cushions

The popularity of alfresco dining and entertaining guests at home in the garden has resulted in an increase in consumer purchases of patterned outdoor cushions. Sales of patterned outdoor cushions had risen by 23% in 2017 compared to the previous year and is expected to continue to rise year on year (https://www.gardenforum.co.uk/media/articles/WGC%20Garden%20Trends%20Report%202018.pdf)

LOFA (Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association) is raising awareness of fire safety standards/regulations for garden furniture cushions. The LOFAssured initiative ensures that all cushions sold by members comply with current government fire safety regulations. Members whose cushions adhere to the fire safety regulations will be fitted with a LOFAssured swing tag.
