Tempting Food & Drink in Cheltenham

The third Food & Drink Trade Show took place at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, last week. The show was 20% bigger than 2014 with a unique mix of inspirational speciality food & drink products, from a wide range of exhibitors; from the small and regional, to those who trade throughout the UK and internationally.

“For a new exhibitor it was a great introduction to the food and drinks industry, we learnt a lot in a very short period of time. Great show”. Catherina Rolinson. Lovells Vineyard/Elgar Wines.

Having moved from its previous time slot in February, the new dates proved popular with visitors pleased to have this mid-season opportunity to get ready for the busy summer in Cheltenham. The show welcomed chefs and buyers from Hotel du Vin, Ellenborough Park Hotel, Boswells, The Daffodil, Gloucester Services, Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucester Golf Club, Asda Regional Sourcing, 131, Berkeley Castle, Better Food, all of whom commented on the fantastic selection of unique and high quality products they discovered.

“We had a lovely day at Cheltenham yesterday for the @lovefinefood Food Trade Show, thank you!” @MadriCucina

“Impressed with the layout this year thought it worked really well. The area in the middle for chefs etc. to present was good. In general the show had a good vibe. Friendly helpful staff which is always good”. Anne Murray, Hills Design.

Located right in the centre of the hall, The Target Catering Equipment Demo Kitchen hosted regular demos throughout the show by chefs such as TV Celebrity & Chef Alan Coxon, Head Chef Emily Watkins from the award-winning Kingham Plough, and Will and Calum Thompson from Eat Wild, as well as students from Gloucestershire College. Plenty to watch and listen to, as well as smell and taste!

“I would highly recommend the Food & Drink Trade Show at Cheltenham for any small business looking to reach a wide range of potential clients in a short space of time, for relatively little investment. In just two days, I will likely have doubled the outlets it took me a year to build up. Great event, with great staff who support you every step of the way. Great value for money.” – Caroline Pover, Auntie Caroline’s
