Guestline raise £1000 for local hospice

Hospitality software provider Guestline has raised over £1000 for local Shropshire charity, Severn Hospice, by participating in a number of fundraising events, including a Dragon Boat Race.

Guestline has been participating in the Dragon Boat race for the last 5 years in aid of the hospice, and this year the team, aptly named ‘The IT Crowd’ competed against other local businesses and organisations in a series of heats along the River Severn in Shrewsbury. The sun was shining and was more than matched by the enthusiasm and effort put in by the team of rowers and their fellow supporters who were all dressed as Software Pirates.

Phil Davidson, Guestline Managing Director added, ‘The Dragon Boat Race has been pivotal to our fundraising for several years now. We’ve had fun supporting the event and the hospice in different ways to raise much needed funds for the charity. We would like to say a big thank you to all that attended and helped us raise money. We’re delighted to have raised over £5000 for the charity in the last four years.’

Staff at Guestline, who provide innovative hotel management and distribution software to the hospitality industry, take part in a series of charity events and initiatives every year, the next event being the Great Big Bike Ride, a 50km bike ride through Shropshire in aid of Severn Hospice.
