Sky puts pubs showing PPV Boxing on the map

Sky Sports Pub Finder has been updated to highlight which pubs will be showing the upcoming Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko boxing event on Sky Sports Box Office.

Pub Finder is integrated into the Sky Sports, Soccer Centre and Sky WiFi Finder apps, which have been downloaded over 17 million times. Landlords who are showing the fight on Sky Sports Box Office will automatically appear on the Pub Finder map with a boxing glove icon by their pub. The update means that boxing fans can now quickly see which pubs are showing the fight by simply searching the Pub Finder website.

Pub Finder is just one of the ways Sky helps to drive maximum football through pub doors, helping landlords to make the most of live sport in their venue.

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business said: “Boxing is increasingly popular among pub goers and licensees are reaping the benefits of the money-making opportunities Pay-Per-View fights can bring. The upgraded Pub Finder will help our customers to get even more value from the massive fight between Joshua and Klitschko, and it’s another great addition to the range of free tools we give landlords to help them make money.”

Venues that sign up to show the fight before 9pm on Friday 21st April will save over 15% using the following link – https://business.sky.com/skysports-boxoffice/aj-v-klitschko/.

Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko is just part of a huge Bank Holiday weekend of live action, with two crucial Premier League matches – Everton v Chelsea & Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal – also taking place exclusively live on Sky Sports, as well as Rangers v Celtic in the Scottish Premiership and the Russian Grand Prix.
