Langdale Hotel, on the Langdale Estate in the Lake District’s Langdale Valley, has just launched an indulgent Afternoon Tea Spa Break, providing guests with the opportunity to relax in Brimstone Spa, enjoy a lavish afternoon tea in Stove and stay the night in one of Langdale Hotel’s chic bedrooms.
The Afternoon Tea Spa Break includes two hours of access to Brimstone Spa (exclusively available to those staying on the Langdale Estate), so guests can journey through its seven thermal experiences, soak in the indoor-outdoor pool, rest by the outdoor fire and recuperate in its multiple relaxation areas.
After that they can head to Stove – Langdale Estate’s stylish restaurant and bar – and indulge in an afternoon tea picnic hamper packed with savoury goodies including ham hock terrine with toasted bloomer and Hawkshead piccalilli, pork & leek sausage rolls, sandwiches with smoked salmon, capers, dill and crème fraiche, Cumbrian ham with tomato and honey mustard, and cucumber with Appleby creamery cream cheese. There will be a selection of sweet treats too including cheese and fruit scones served with preserves and clotted cream, macarons, mini choux buns, chocolate French fancies and red velvet cake.
The night will be spent in one of Langdale Hotel’s contemporary bedrooms – there are Cosy Lakeland Signature Rooms for those that are looking for an affordable spa escape, or for those looking for a little more luxury there are Waterside Rooms with balconies overlooking Langdale Beck, or the Ultimate Rooms, which have stand-out features such as twin slipper baths.
Langdale Hotel’s Afternoon Tea Spa Break is available Monday to Saturday and costs from £350 per room per night based on two people sharing.
