London, June 2026: Springboard, the charity dedicated to changing lives and unlocking potential through careers in hospitality, has launched Just1More a new national fundraising initiative designed to give hospitality businesses a simple, flexible and meaningful way to support people into careers in hospitality.

Built for hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafés and hospitality operators of every size, Just1More invites businesses to encourage guests to make a small, optional £1 donation in a way that suits their operation. This can be added to the bill, linked to a featured dish or drink, or activated as a limited-time campaign. The initiative has been designed to integrate easily into day-to-day operations while remaining straight-forward for guests to understand, with businesses provided with assets, straplines and a simple staff briefing when they sign up.
At its heart, Just1More is about turning a small gesture into a big impact. Every £1 helps The Springboard Charity support people of all ages and backgrounds to gain the skills, confidence and support they need to take their first step into a career in hospitality.
Springboard has spent decades helping to futureproof the industry’s talent pipeline by supporting those facing barriers to employment and connecting them with real opportunities in hospitality. Just1More gives businesses a practical way to become part of that mission while demonstrating social impact to guests and their teams.
Recognising the operational pressures hospitality businesses already face, Just1More has been created to be straightforward, adaptable and easy to implement. The initiative works across different types of venues, teams and trading environments, integrates seamlessly with existing PoS systems, and fits naturally into the guest journey.
“Just1More is about making support for Springboard as simple and accessible as possible,” said Chris Gamm, CEO at Springboard.“Hospitality businesses are under constant pressure, so we wanted to create an initiative that is easy to introduce, flexible enough to work in different settings, and powerful enough to make a real difference. One small donation can help change a life.”
A representative at Noble Rot, one of the businesses who has implemented this initiative, says “Springboard shares our passion for hospitality as a lifelong career. As employers, we recognise the impact of investing in skilled, continuous training to create rewarding careers and fulfilled staff. Inspired by their mission to support disadvantaged and unemployed individuals, we proudly support their work. Their initiatives, from engaging with schools and colleges to providing vital work placements, play a crucial role in shaping the future of the industry. The discretionary £1 contribution added to each bill at Noble Rot Soho allows us and our customers to support Springboard’s important work, and has become a simple but impactful way to support their mission.”
