The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show goes big on drinks with the launch of London Drinks Exchange

The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show (same organisers as Northern Restaurant & Bar) is raising a glass to its biggest drinks offering yet, with the launch of the London Drinks Exchange – a dedicated show bringing together the best in wine, beer, spirits, mixers, low and no, glassware, bar equipment, and more. The show will form an important part of the new London Food & Drink Festival taking place at Excel London on 16-17 September.

The UK pub and bar market is forecast to reach £25.7bn by 2028, with spirits (+1.4ppt) and cocktails (+0.6ppt) becoming the fastest-growing on-trade categories (Lumina Intelligence). And despite consumer tastes evolving with ‘low and no’ (over 200 million pints of low and no beer were consumed in 2025, according to British Beer & Pub Association), Beer still represents 63% of pub and bar occasions. Notably, these consumers value brand, health and quality over volume.

Lumina Intelligence also identifies several key growth drivers for the sector, including a shift of people ‘returning-to-offices’ after Covid, major sporting events, and increasing consumer demand for premiumisation – presenting a significant opportunity for operators to reassess and refresh their menus.

The London Drinks Exchange has been created to do exactly that – giving buyers, operators and decision-makers from across hospitality a dedicated ‘show-within-a show’ to discover what’s new, and what’ll drive revenue in 2026, and beyond.

“We’re thrilled to announce the launch of London Drinks Exchange at The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show,” comments Group Event Director, Chris Brazier.

He continues “This is an exciting opportunity for restaurant, pub and bar operators to come together and sample hundreds of innovative new products across every category, explore new listings, listen to expert speakers, network, and do business with the best drink brands on the market.”

The show is already bringing together an unrivalled breadth of brands under one roof, exhibitors already confirmed include Diageo, Carlsberg Britvic, Lilley’s Cider, Moth Drinks, Ocean Spray, Sunrise Beveridges, Budweiser Budvar, Fierce Beer, Bunta Beer, Lonkero, North South Wines, Off the Wall Drinks, Edmunds Cocktails, East End Library, Lockdown Liquor, Dutch Cocktail Club, Clear Brew, Jacobs Wine,  Chorq, The Uncommon, Amber Beverage, Damm Brewery, and many more.
