Tarquin’s handcrafted Cornish Gin is excited to announce Tarquin’s Black Cherry Gin, the latest creation from self-taught Master Distiller Tarquin Leadbetter, who continues to push the boundaries of flavour experimentation with this new intensely fruity and beautifully balanced gin. Launched especially for St Valentine’s Day, this is the ultimate sensual tipple to aid celebrations with a loved one. 

From his distillery on the Wild Cornish Coast, Tarquin carefully infuses this glorious gin with fresh pressed black cherries and a touch of orange zest. Creating a rich, zingy and vibrant spirit that transports you to the mountains and lakes of the Black Forest. Made in small batches in one of Tarquin’s flame-fired copper pot stills, this limited-edition release is only available until April 2022.

For a simple and beautifully balanced tipple, serve 50ml Tarquin’s Black Cherry Gin over muddled fresh cherries, top with crisp lemon tonic water and finish with a lemon wedge and a sprinkling of cherries!

50ml Tarquin’s Black Cherry Gin

25ml Fresh Lemon Juice

15ml Maraschino Liqueur

1 Fresh Egg White

A Few Maraschino Cherries

Cubed Ice

Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with lots of ice. Shake until cold and then strain. Remove all the ice and then shake again for 2 minutes. Finally, strain over ice into your favourite tumbler and garnish with maraschino cherries!
