Hollywood film director, Paul Feig who is famously known for blockbuster hits such as The Heat, Last Christmas and the Oscar-nominated Bridesmaids has created a new premium spirit, Artingstall’s Gin, set to launch in the UK this month.
After spending years searching for the perfect gin for his beloved martini, Paul collaborated with Minhas Micro Distillery to create Artingstall’s gin, with a tailor-made blend of eleven botanicals distilled in a traditional copper pot for a clean, crisp spirit to create show-stopping cocktails and low-calorie spritzes alike.
Named after his mothers maiden name, Paul worked closely with Minhas Micro Distillery, the boutique spirits house founded by Ravinder and Manjit Minhas, to create the perfect spirit, versatile enough to take a starring role behind any bar. Visiting the craft distillery in America’s Midwest, the team created Artingstall’s signature blend of eleven botanicals including the likes of orris root, coriander, cassia bark and cardamom.
The bottle design brings to life Paul’s passion for vintage glassware and has been inspired by classic and ornate decanters from the ’50s and ’60s, celebrating the sophistication and glamour of the era.
Since the brand’s launch in the US in 2020, Artingstall’s gin has already won numerous industry awards, including Best of Show at the WSWA Spirits Tasting Competition and a Silver Medal in the London Spirits Competition.
Already available from select retailers in North America, Artingstall’s Gin hits the UK as global gin sales are expected to continue to rise at an annual growth rate of 4.2% through 2023*. Many market observers suggest that the continued popularity is fuelled by trending Negronis and a consumer interest in more flavorful alternatives to vodka.
