Big names and big topics take centre stage at HOSPACE 2019

The countdown is on and excitement is building for one the year’s biggest hospitality events, HOSPACE, which takes place later this month.

Organised by the hospitality professionals’ organisation, HOSPA, the one-day event is set to feature some of the biggest names in the industry, discussing some of the most important topics currently facing it.

Due to take place on Thursday, 28th November at the Royal Lancaster London, HOSPACE 2019 boasts a prestigious list of speakers, from Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels to HOSPA president and chairman of Lucknam Park, Harry Murray MBE and Steve Cassidy, senior vice president and managing director (UK and Ireland) of Hilton.

There will also be six workshops covering:

  • Can technology really drive TREVPAR? Myths and Realities – an insightful view of the latest hospitality technology, by Julie Grieve, CEO of Criton
  • The future belongs to those who hear it coming – a look at how Revenue Management affects every part of a business, by Adrienne Hanna, Founder & CEO of Right Revenue
  • 24 hours to get a new system live? No sweat – a talk about the new approach that makes it possible to roll out an entirely new tech stack in less than 24 hours, by Alan O’Riordan, Co-founder of Apaleo
  • Reducing cyber security risks within your organisation – Are your staff part of the problem or solution – a look at the threats staff pose to businesses through data breaches, by Bim Jinadasa, Vodat & Jonny Tonnyson, Fortnet
  • Best in class strategies for Driving Down Costs – a talk on how to transform your Procurement, AP, F&B and Operations deprtment’s processes to improve your bottom-line, by Dan Hiza, BirchStreet Systems
  • What to look for when choosing a mobile app for your hotel – an insight into how your mobile app can deliver for your business, by Stephen Barr, Chief Insight Officer at Noetic

Other programme highlights include a live podcast from Cloudreach, Cloudbusting Live, which will focus on the digital transformation journey using cloud computing, and the potential benefits and challenges to the hospitality industry.
