FROM TURKEY MOUSSAKA TO LAMB CUTLETS WITH MAVRODAPHNE CRANBERRY SAUCE, SOCIAL DINING RESTAURANT GROUP UNVEILS A GREEK TAKE ON CHRISTMAS CLASSICS
From the 11th November, The Real Greek, the UK’s only group of authentic Greek restaurants, will be serving its Christmas menu, featuring a range of yuletide versions of Aegean classics, from Turkey Moussaka to Lamb Cutlets with Mavrodaphne Cranberry Sauce.
Whether celebrating the office Christmas party with colleagues, or enjoying an intimate dinner with close friends or family, The Real Greek’s festive menu is perfect for any yuletide event.
The dining experience begins with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and then guests can opt for either a three course meal priced at £24.95 per person, or a two course meal priced at £19.95 per person.
To start, diners can enjoy a Greek Meze Plate which features a selection of classic Meze favourites, including Crudités, Flatbread, Houmous, Tzatziki, Fava, Spinach Tiropitakia, Dolmades & Olives.
For the main course, there’s a choice of one of the following dishes:
- Turkey Moussaka, a festive take on a Greek classic, served with a Christmas Salad.
- Lamb Cutlets, served with Green Beans, Root Vegetables & a Mavrodaphne Cranberry Sauce.
- Vegetable Stack with Halloumi, served with Aubergine, Peppers, Houmous & Green Beans (this dish can also be made vegan).
Guests with a sweet tooth can then select an option from the dessert menu including:
- Caramel & Pecan Cheesecake
- Chocolate Mousse Cake
- Baklava
- Luxury Ice Cream
- Luxury Sorbet
The Real Greek menu development is led by Tonia Buxton, a celebrity chef and the face of Greek food in Britain. The menu embodies the culinary heritage of the Eastern Mediterranean, taking in the best of Greece’s gastronomic traditions, from its 6,000 islands to the fertile mainland and mountains to the latest innovations of the capital’s restaurant scene.

The Christmas Menu will be available from the 11th November 2019 – 5th January 2020 and priced at £19.95 per person for a two course meal and £24.95 per person for a three course meal across all locations at The Real Greek. It can be enjoyed for both lunch or dinner.
The Real Greek also has a meze style Party Menu that be enjoyed for lunch or dinner, with prices starting from £14.95 per person, for those who are more about sharing this festive season. Available for a minimum of six people, and one menu type for the entire party.
