LEONARDO ROYALTOWER BRIDGE ANNOUNCE APPOINTMENT OF NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland is proud to announce the appointment of Andy Bellamy as General Manager at the newly opened Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge.

Andy joins the Leonardo Royal property with 15 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry, most recently as Area General Manager at Mercure Hotels.

An exciting time to join the team, the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge recently opened its doors with an official launch in April. Formerly part of The Grange hotel group, the hotel is perfect for business or leisure guests looking to explore the bustling city of London.

A dedicated manager with a wealth of hospitality experience, Andy is well-known and respected within the Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels family. He served as General Manager of Jurys Inn Heathrow Airport from November 2013 to June 2016, where he led the property through a £4.2m refurbishment and rebranding to Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport.

As General Manager at Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge, Andy will build on the hotel’s success with business and leisure guests and oversee the hotel’s planned refurbishment, which is due to start in September and will improve the hotel’s customer product and service offering.

His passion and enthusiasm for the business, strong leadership skills and dedication to outstanding customer service will prove incredibly valuable as Leonardo Hotels continues to grow its profile in London and throughout the UK.

Located near Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge offers 370 modern and spacious bedrooms. Guests at the hotel can enjoy two on-site bars as well as the Tower Grill restaurant.

The hotel also has 17 flexible meeting and event rooms in the heart of London. Spread over two floors, the hotel can accommodate up to 850 people in a range of layouts, all including state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.

The hotel is also home to a fully-fledged fitness suite with Tower Bridge Health and Fitness giving guests easy access to leisure amenities in the city. Here guests can enjoy a swim in the 25m indoor pool or work up a sweat in the well-equipped gym. Visitors can also make use of the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and on-site spa, offering signature manicures, facials and packages.

Jason Carruthers, Managing Director of Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland says:

“Andy has been an asset to the Jurys Inn family in the past and we’re excited to welcome him back to take the helm as General Manager at Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge. We are confident in Andy’s ability to grow and nurture this hotel as Leonardo Hotels continues to expand its presence in the UK hospitality market.”
