Pink Fizz Afternoon Tea
Served in the Restaurant or Cocktail Lounge, you and your loved one can relax in Georgian splendour with an array of homemade pastries and sweet treats including a Fresh Raspberry Tart, Praline Opera, and Red Velvet Cake. Traditional finger sandwiches such as Cucumber and Cream Cheese on Basil Bread and Smoked Salmon and Cracked Black Pepper on Brown Bread will be offered alongside homemade scones with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry preserve. To celebrate Valentine’s Day in style, a pretty Pink Cocktail will be offered to all guests.
The Pink Fizz Afternoon Tea is available from Thursday 14 January to Saturday 16 January 2019, from 12.30pm until 5pm. It is priced at £37 per person on Thursday and Friday; and £42 per person on Saturday.
The Restaurant at Sopwell House
Romancers seeking Valentine’s Gourmet Dining can indulge in a 5-course dinner. Diners will be treated to sparkling wine and canapés on arrival; followed by a starter with choices of crab or a venison tartar, followed by cured wild sea bass. Mains feature duck with golden turnip and shiitake, or turbot with oyster and horseradish. Divine desserts include a sharing plate of Rhubarb soufflé, or Caramelized white chocolate with kalamansi and Madagascan pepper.
The Restaurant’s luxurious set menu is £75 per person, with vegetarian and vegan options available. An excellent value wine flight can be added for £35.
The Brasserie at Sopwell House
Sopwell House’s contemporary open-plan Brasserie is the perfect location for an intimate Valentine’s dinner.
With a set 3-course menu, diners can choose dishes such as Velouté of celeriac and apple with crispy quail’s egg; Pan-fried Halibut with fondant potato and clam chowder; and Strawberry delice, strawberry and yuzu ice cream to share. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
The set menu is £42.50 per person.
