NEW TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD: ‘BOROUGH’ ANNOUNCES RESTAURANT OPENING IN LEITH

Adding to Leith’s flourishing food scene, new restaurant – Borough – will open its doors for the first time this July.

Guided by Head Chef Darren Murray – formerly Head Chef of award-winning restaurant, Norn – Borough promises to serve-up contemporary European cuisine within a relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere.

A laidback menu comprising small and large plates will encourage diners to savour and explore at their own pace while enjoying Borough’s extensive selection of wines – many of which will be served by the glass.

Head Chef, Darren Murray, commented:

With Michelin-star restaurants, gin distilleries and coffee roasters rubbing shoulders with one another, Leith has quickly earnt a coveted reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting foodie boroughs.

“It goes without saying that the Borough team can’t wait to add to this vibrant scene with a dining experience that’s comfortably woven into the neighbourhood; combining a friendly, convivial atmosphere with contemporary cuisine inspired by seasonal sourcing and partnerships with local suppliers.

Darren Murray will be joined by Archie Kyle, formerly of Fishers in Leith, as Restaurant Manager.

Borough will open to the public from the 7th of July.
