Offering a reason to rejoice this festive season, Hunter 486 will be serving an array of specially created menus perfect for celebrating the Christmas season in style. The glamorous restaurant, located inside acclaimed hotel The Arch London, boasts an intimate atmosphere and stylish interior making it a magical setting to enjoy a festive feast.
Festive Afternoon Tea at Hunter 486:
Available from 25 November 2017 until 7 January 2018, the restaurant’s exclusive afternoon tea will feature favourites such as: Smoked Salmon; Roast Norfolk Turkey; and English Cheddar Finger Sandwiches alongside a selection of freshly made Plain and Fruit Scones. Furthermore, diners will be able to enjoy sweet treats, including Rich Chocolate Yule Logs, Battenburgs and Macaroons with Eggnog Cream. The feast will be served with a choice of tea, coffee or Champagne, making it fit for any occasion whether guests are relaxing after an afternoon of sightseeing or celebrating a special occasion with friends. Diners can sample the delicate delights in The Martini Library or Salon de Champagne – elegant enclaves offering privacy and intimacy in equal measure.
The Festive Afternoon Tea is priced at £28 per person or £39 with glass of Taittinger Champagne.
Festive Dining at Hunter 486:
In the warm up for Christmas Day, Hunter 486 will be serving a series of seasonal dishes with its dedicated Festive Menu. Starters will include: Warm Salt Beef Salad, Caper Dressing, Burford Brown Egg; and Salt Baked Heritage Beets, Whipped Goat’s Curd, Red Chard and Candied Pecans. Following this will be main dishes such as: Fillet of Stone Bass, Sesame Greens, Lemongrass and Ginger Broth; and Roast Norfolk Turkey, Chestnut Stuffing, Roast Potatoes, along with sides of Brussels Sprouts and Chipolatas in Bacon; and Wild Mushroom and Truffle Tortellini, Cepe and Parmesan Sauce. The sweet-toothed can look forward to trying the Lemon Tart with Crème Fraiche; Bramley Apple and Quince Crumble with Cinnamon Custard; and a traditional Christmas Pudding with Brandy and Vanilla Sauce.
The Festive Dining Menu is priced at £35 per person.
Christmas Day at Hunter 486:
The chefs at Hunter 486 will be hard at work on Christmas day to offer a perfectly prepared festive feast. Traditional favourites such as Lobster, Prawn and Crab Cocktail will kick off proceedings, followed by a palette cleansing Taittinger Prestige Brut Rosé Sorbet. For the main event, Roast Norfolk Turkey, Chestnut Stuffing, Roast Potatoes, with a side of Brussels Sprouts with Chipolatas in Bacon will be served, followed by a traditional Christmas Pudding and Truffled Tunworth Brie with Walnut Bread. There will be a grand finale of Mince Pies and Coffee.
The Christmas Day Menu is priced at £90 per person. A vegetarian menu is also available.
