Celebrities entertained children undergoing cancer treatment from University College Hospital (UCH)
On Monday 2 December, Hard Rock Cafe London hosted and sponsored a celebrity-studded Christmas party for the children’s charity Fight For Life. The annual event provides children undergoing medical treatment with extraordinary experiences.
X Factor: Celebrity star Eyal Booker (No Love Lost), and S Club’s Rachel Stevens chatted with guests, alongside Gary Lineker and Judge Rinder. Children were also delighted by stars from their favourite TV programmes, including the cast of BBC Flatmates’ Richard Whisker. Theo Stevenson and Grace Hogg-Robinson, and Carma Hylton from CBBC’s The Dumping Ground.
The children and their families tucked into Hard Rock’s famous burgers, milkshakes and brownies, while they enjoyed live music performances from stars including Richard Jones (Britain’s Got Talent champion) and Nate James (The Voice), and a surprise visit from Santa.
“One of the proudest moments of our job is being able to bring excitement and joy to children who need it most”, said James Russell Jones, General Manager at Hard Rock Cafe London. “The team go all out to ensure this is one of the best nights of the year, providing children and their families with an unforgettable Hard Rock experience.”
This is the 20th year Hard Rock has supported Fight For Life.
