Royal Lancaster London on Hyde Park, which has recently undergone an £85 million renovation, has appointed Swiss-born Flavio Ringer as Director of Food & Beverage.
Ringer brings over 10 years of managerial expertise to Royal Lancaster London where he will oversee all of the hotel’s food and beverage including Nipa Thai, Island Grill, Park Restaurant and its world-renowned banqueting.
Royal Lancaster London is one of the largest banqueting venues in Europe with 2 large ballrooms; the Nine Kings and Westbourne Suites and 13 smaller meeting spaces. Combined with excellent facilities and world class cuisine, the hotel can cater for events up to 1000 guests.
Ringer has a wealth of experience within prestigious luxury hotels such as The Dorchester where he was Head Waiter within The Grill Restaurant. Also within The Dorcester Collection, he was Restaurant Supervisor and Assistant Head Sommelier at London’s CUT Restaurant at 45 Park Lane.
Following a year at D&D London’s New Street Grill as Senior Assistant Restaurant Manager, Ringer joined the Corinthia Hotel London where he rose to become Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
Ringer received a Corinthia Advanced Management Programme through the Swiss Hotel Management School in 2018, and is fluent in five languages (German, Italian, English, Spanish and French).
As one of the most iconic hotels in the Capital, Royal Lancaster London has an illustrious history; from Michael Caine being filmed for ‘The Italian Job’, to events attended by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and countless other royals. The hotel also famously hosted the after-party for The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine film premiere, which The Beatles’ attended in the Yellow Submarine Nightclub.
