QUANDOO WILL ANNOUNCE AN INTEGRATION WITH RCS BUSINESS MESSAGING TO LAUNCH THE QUANDOO BOT, THE FIRST AI-BASED BOT FOR DINING DISCOVERY AND RESERVATIONS
Quandoo, the fastest-growing global restaurant reservations platform, bot and social app, is delighted to attend the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Los Angeles, Thursday 13th September, where they will announce their integration with RCS business messaging as part of Google’s Early Access Program.
Quandoo is the first restaurant aggregator that developed an AI-driven BOT interacting with a sophisticated RCS (Rich Communication Services) platform which will make the booking process smoother and richer for the user. The AI-powered BOT interacts with customers to quickly discover, suggest and learn their preferences at an unforeseen rate. At launch, it will available for Quandoo users and restaurants in the UK, Singapore and Australia, with further expansion in the other countries in which the reservation service is currently active; Austria, Germany, Finland, Italy, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey. The new feature will have a huge effect on user behaviour and the way people interact with hospitality, making it easier to book at their favourite restaurants for a more seamless booking experience.
Quandoo has integrated this pioneer BOT, that combines best-of-breed conversational technologies, into Android Messages through Google’s Early Access Program for rich business messages, allowing diners to interact with the BOT throughout the entire dining experience. With these more interactive messages with RCS, customers can request directions, check menus and manage or edit their reservation. Users will be encouraged to rate their experience so the BOT can remember preferences for the future, advising on restaurants they enjoyed and others they should try.
The integration is an extension of the already hugely successful restaurant reservation platform.
