Hotel du Vin named ‘Best Smaller Hotel Chain’

Boutique hotel company Hotel du Vin has been named the winner of the ‘Best Smaller Hotel Chain’ at the Business Traveller Awards 2015.

The awards, which took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on October 12, aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the travel industry’s leading businesses, teams and individuals who have performed “outstandingly” in their chosen field over the last 12 months.

Lorraine Jarvis, operations director, said: “It’s great to be recognised by such a prestigious award, and is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our people to ensure that we are always creating the very best experiences for our guests.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure that each of our hotels offers substance and style, with the essence of the brand lying in our unyielding commitment to doing the simple things well.”

Hotel du Vin, a collection of 16 townhouses and city-centre boutique hotels across the UK, was recently sold, along with the Malmaison chain of hotels, for £363m to Frasers Hospitality.
