Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill offering the best cuts on menu
Diners at Marco Pierre White’s (MPW) Steakhouse Bar & Grill at the Clifton Hotel in Folkestone are set to be served some of the best cuts of meat in the country, with royally approved Campbell Brothers supplying fresh, top of the range beef to the restaurant.
This is not the first collaboration between Marco Pierre White and Campbell Brothers, with the butchers working closely as suppliers for the past two years.
With over 100 years of experience and knowledge, the butchers offer a full range of quality, freshly prepared meat that is cut to specifications by the best experts in the game. This experience, passion and knowledge is demonstrated through Campbell Brother’s Royal Warrant as providers of meat and poultry to the royal household.
MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill has recently announced that it is now taking booking ahead of its soft launch on 20th August, with “early bookers” getting a free glass of fizz, an offer which runs until the end of September
Marco, once the youngest chef to hold three Michelin stars, said: “For all my restaurants I have always ensured that we have the very best fresh produce. Campbell Brother’s are second to none when it comes to meat and I’m delighted that our work together continues with this new venture in Folkestone.”

The restaurant, which can boast 82 covers, is a welcome addition to Folkestone which is seeing a resurgence in recent times thanks in part to the popularity of the Creative Quarter. It is set to become a must-visit for local food lovers and hotel guests.
The Steakhouse Bar & Grill opens out into a wonderfully light conservatory area. Diners can expect signature MPW steaks, timeless English and French classics, and a comprehensive selection of premium cocktails, all delivered with Marco’s unique flair.
The Steakhouse Bar & Grill menu is exclusively curated by Marco himself. To suit all tastes, it will include a mix of childhood favourites and modern day delicacies – ranging from Classic Prawn Cocktail and Shepherd’s Pie, to Freshly Dressed Crab and a selection of 35-day aged native breed steaks, including the ever popular Chateaubriand dish. All of which represent Marco’s ethos – classic dishes, simply cooked using the best locally sourced ingredients.
The traditional Victorian style Clifton Hotel, dates back to 1864 and offers spectacular views of the English Channel. Nestled in the centre of the famous Leas, its 80 bedrooms provide either stunning sea views or quaint garden sights.
