Becky Harris is the Founder and Chief Distiller of Catoctin Creek, a women-owned and operated craft distillery since 2009. As a chemical engineer, and President of the American Craft Spirits Association, Becky is regarded as one of the best distillers in the country, having won multiple international medals for her spirits. She is also a tireless advocate for the entire craft spirits industry.
Becky is known best for her single barrel 100% rye whisky, Roundstone Rye, which uses heritage grains from local farms and is 100% copper pot distilled, never sourced.

Ingredients:
– 25ml Pear Brandy
– 25ml Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye Whisky
– 10ml Dry Fino Sherry
– 10ml Lemon Juice
– 15ml Rose Garden Tea syrup*
– Soda Water
Method: Stir and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass, top with soda water. Garnish with edible wild violets and pansies. (Omit soda water and serve in a rocks glass if preferred – shown here.) *Rose Garden Tea syrup – Make the tea as normal, about one cup’s worth of liquid, but then while still hot, stir in one cup of sugar to dissolve completely.

Celtic whisky from Brittany in France. The nose is rich and opulent with the first powerful notes of grain and slight peat give way to an aromatic palette combining the sweetness of vanilla, the complexity of leather and smoky tobacco and some honey. In the mouth the honey extends supported by slight peat and saline notes with aromas of gingerbread combined with flavours of candied fruit.
Great with oysters and seafood.

Ingredients:
– 45ml Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey.
– 120ml Fresh Grapefruit Juice.
– 30ml Honey Simple Syrup.
– 25ml Amaro Nonino.
– Lemon for garnish.
Method:
– Fill a mixing glass and a rocks glass with ice.
– Combine Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey, grapefruit juice and simple syrup into mixing glass and stir for 10-15 seconds.
– Strain mixture into rocks glass.
– Top with Club Soda and garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
