LAPHROAIG LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR BEST FRIENDS IN CELEBRATION OF 30 YEARS OF FRIENDS OF LAPHROAIG

Laphroaig, the global number one selling Islay single malt, has announced a search for its biggest fans and their most memorable stories, as the brand looks forward to celebrating the 30th anniversary of its legendary Friends of Laphroaig community.

Laphroaig is extending exclusive invitations to Friends of Laphroaig to actively participate in the celebrations and contribute to the brand’s rich legacy. If you have a story, reflections or experiences to share as part of the Laphroaig community, we’d love to hear from you. A select few will be chosen to take part in a short film which will form part of the anniversary plans, in addition to receiving Laphroaig merchandise. This special bottle is one of a few exciting new whisky launches for Laphroaig in 2024, more to be revealed in due course.

For lovers of Laphroaig interested in applying, the opportunity awaits. Applications are open from 29th April to 12thMay. To enter, Friends are asked to complete a submission form on the Laphroaig website, accompanied by a 60-second video sharing their stories and love for the brand. Selected Friends will receive invitations for prospective interviews scheduled between 1st and 14th June, with successful participants contacted for filming between 15th and 30th June. To protect the project’s integrity, applicants must demonstrate their loyalty within the Friends of Laphroaig community for a minimum of 12 months and be over 25 years old.
