Over the years, Verve on Merrion Street – part of independent bar group Escapism Bars – has been known for its lively atmosphere, unique cocktails and indie vibe. The venue has now announced that it will be unveiling an updated bar identity and expanding its range of Tequila from today (National Tequila Day)!
With a brand-new drinks menu, Verve has also introduced the ‘Agave Bible’ to its venue, which showcases the vast array of Tequila and other agave-based spirits the bar stocks.
Verve will be turning National Tequila Day into a week-long celebration to celebrate the launch of its new menu and nacho offering, which allows guests to enjoy a free nacho side with any drink before 9pm.
During this week, Verve will have a ‘Confessional Booth’ at the bar, where guests will be invited to confess their Tequila-related sins on the confession slips and swear on the new Agave Bible. Followers will also be able to enter their confessions online via Instagram, with the most outrageous answer winning a free bottle of Tequila.

Escapism Bar’s talented mixologist, Miley Kendrick, who recently won first place in the UK El Recuerdo Mezcal competition, will make a special appearance at Verve on Thursday 3rd August. As she prepares to indulge guests in her award-winning Tequila concoctions.
To mark the transformation, Verve will also be launching a brand-new website this month which will feature updates from Verve, upcoming events and everything you need to know about its drink selection.
