Camden Town Brewery has announced the launch of its latest summer seasonal: Bellini Lager. This crisp and refreshing lager is a fresh take on the classic Italian Bellini, inspired by the iconic combination of bubbly prosecco and sweet peaches. Because why should fizzy wine have all the fun?
Following on from the success of Camden’s previous summer seasonals, Pina Lager in 2021 and Ice Cream Lager in 2022, Bellini is stepping up to the plate as the next limited-edition launch to take centre stage.
Originally created as part of Camden’s small batch innovation series ‘Arch 55’, it was time for Bellini to go even bigger in a new 440ml can for Summer 2023 – making it perfect for sharing with pals during the warm summer months,
The new Bellini Lager is a dry ‘Brut’ inspired beer, incorporating rice for a light body and paired with Nelson Sauvin hops for that wine-like flavour all fizz fans love. A crisp and fresh tasting lager, Bellini uses real peach puree and has been dry hopped with the new experimental hop HBC 431, known for its peach tea notes, for ultimate levels of fruity freshness.
Fred Nesbitt, Head of Marketing at Camden Town Brewery, said: “We regularly launch seasonal beers and it’s something we know our beer fans get excited about – and who could blame them? Bellini is a crisp but juicy lager that we’ve tried and tested at Camden HQ, and now it’s the perfect choice for summer ’23. We are seeing peachy drinks pop up in lots of different categories, and although our Bellini lager may sound extra fancy, at its heart it is still a really fresh and delicious beer.”
