BURGER KING® UK LAUNCHES UK-WIDE LOYALTY PROGRAMME

  • “Your Burger King®” available across UK stores, online, and click and collect orders from 26 July
  • Scheme rewards loyal customers with the best of BKUK’s menu items, including the famous Whopper®
  • Forms part of BKUK’s focus to increase customer engagement and drive sales, while continuing the business’s ongoing digital transformation 

Burger King UK (“BKUK”) announces the launch of its new UK-wide loyalty programme, offering tasty rewards when guests enjoy the best of Burger King®. The new scheme aims to drive increased customer engagement through personalised, digitally-led offers, while continuing BKUK’s digital transformation. 

“Your Burger King®” will be available via the Burger King® UK app, with members receiving 10 loyalty points – or Crowns – for every £1 spent. These Crowns can be redeemed for 22 of BKUK’s great-tasting menu items for free, including the famous flame-grilled Whopper®. To celebrate the launch of the new programme, users will be instantly awarded 200 Crowns – enough to claim a Cheeseburger for free. 

Embedded across BKUK’s extensive omni-channel offering, the scheme will be available at in-store counters and digital ordering kiosks across UK restaurants and Drive-Thrus, alongside BKUK’s Click & Collect services and online ordering.   

The scheme is expected to further grow BKUK’s digital customer database, which expanded nearly sixfold between 2017 and 2021 to 1.3 million registered users. Fully integrated across the mobile app, it will provide valuable customer insight to increase engagement and sales. 

“Your Burger King®” is the latest innovation in BKUK’s digital transformation, which has seen the relaunch of the Burger King® UK app to offer digital payments and click-and-collect ordering; key partnerships established with all major home delivery operators; and the introduction of pre-order digital kiosks.  

The UK-wide launch follows the positive trial across 34 stores in Scotland that began in December 2021. BKUK was encouraged by the impressive results of the trial, with loyalty sales growth accelerating over the course of trial and over 9% of BKUK’s Click & Collect app orders at participating restaurants containing a loyalty reward.
