Launching on June 11, World Gin Day, Gin & Tea will present a collection of delicious and refreshing cocktails inspired by London’s landmarks and iconic summer calendar. From Chelsea Flower Show, to Wimbledon, to Kew Gardens, Gin & Tea will take guests on a summery journey through London.
Everyday until September between 16:00 – 23:00, guests can enjoy a taste of London, exclusively available at citizenM’s cloudM Tower of London, with views from the outstanding terrace – a wraparound double height space offering one of the most dramatic views of London’s skyline with the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the city’s iconic skyscrapers including the Gherkin, the Walkie Talkie and the Shard.
Highlights from the exclusive cocktail menu include:
Wimbledon
While tea and gin are quintessentially British, so is Wimbledon, the iconic Tennis tournament where an estimated 166,000 portions of strawberries are served. At citizenM Tower of London, you can sip a refreshing Pimms and Tea Syrup cocktail, topped off with a refreshing serve of Sparkling Tea. Chin chin.
Q Gardens
Taking inspiration from one of London’s most beautiful gardens situated 14 miles down the Thames from where you’re sitting. This elegant serve is all things floral and spring-like. Served with a seasonal fresh edible flower.
Chelsea Flower Show
Inspired directly by the stunning floral displays of Chelsea Flower Show, this is one of our most popular drinks. Served warm in a glass teapot, you can take a moment whilst the flowering tea unfurls before your eyes. Think what Monty Don might choose.
The London Eye
What’s higher than the 7th Floor cloudM? The answer is probably a lot of things but, this cocktail served bright blue, garnished with fluffy candy floss and served in a coupe is reminiscent of being sky high on the London Eye.
The Thames Trader
With the ingredients of spices, chocolate, and mangoes, the inspiration for this cocktail came directly from the Thames River and the old stories of how the clippers used to bring in exotic products from all over the world. This delicately spiced cocktail is paired perfectly with a corner chair view of the Thames.
