About: The Peerless family’s very first bourbon went into a barrel in 1889. They have since revived the craft in their own state-of-the-art distillery in Louisville, Kentucky’s Bourbon District where under one roof the select Kentucky Peerless grains are milled, cooked, fermented, double-distilled and barrelled as bourbon and rye. The distillery will launch two expressions in the UK; Small Batch Rye and Single Barrel Rye. Small Batch offers their hallmarks of depth and balance with notes of toasted oak, citrus zest, rye pepper, and sweet botanicals. In contrast, Peerless Single Barrels intentionally deviate from the consistency of batched product, showcasing amazingly unique flavour profiles, each creating its own unique experience for consumers as they discover what adventure lies within each new selection.

About: Bouquet of aromas from lemon peel to beeswax enhanced with a touch of vanilla on the nose perfect balanced in the mouth blending the smokiness of peat with fruit and spices (ginger, white pepper), the result of patient ageing. The finish is intense and smoky. Kornog has very peaty character and can hold its own even compared to Scottish single malts such as those from the famous Isle of Islay.

The nose is rich giving way to an aromatic palette combining the sweetness of vanilla, the complexity of leather and smoky tobacco and some honey and in the mouth aromas of gingerbread combined with flavours of candied fruit.

Origin: A blend of whisky from Celtic region distilleries then aged in Brittany, France
About: This blended whisky was created as a tribute to the origins of CWC of collecting whisky from distilleries in the Celtic region and ageing them in Brittany with the intention to produce a liquid greater than the sum of its parts. The nose is rich and opulent with the first powerful notes of grain and slight peat give way to an aromatic palette combining the sweetness of vanilla, the complexity of leather and smoky tobacco and some honey. In the mouth the honey extends supported by slight peat and saline notes with aromas of gingerbread combined with flavours of candied fruit.
