CORKK, the specialist English wine retailer, and the Fenwick Canterbury store are collaborating to celebrate English Wine Week June 19th-27th.
With a focus on showcasing the best of local and national vineyards, the Fenwick Canterbury store will host a pop-up bar, a retail shop with over 50 English wines, an English sparkling wine bar, and wine tasting evenings.
Customers will be able to experience and enjoy a glass of the finest English sparkling wine, hear insights from CORKK’s Master of Wine, Clive Barlow, and buy from a range of Kent and English vineyards throughout English Wine Week.
As Jonathan Piggins, Founder of CORKK explains: “Our focus has always been about discovering superb wines and supporting our local vineyards. By working with Fenwick Canterbury, the cathedral city’s foremost store, it is a wonderful opportunity to showcase just how good English wines are becoming”.
As well as being able to buy wine by the glass at the pop-up bar, customers will be able to purchase flights of three wines in sample-sized glasses to experience the range and diversity of wines now being produced in England and Wales.
With the potential ending of restrictions on 21 June and English wine coming of age, the timing couldn’t be better for customers to experience why England is seen as the newest of the New World wine regions.
