The Churchill Bar & Terrace, the award-winning bar set on exclusive Portman Square, Marylebone, is today launching two brand new menus for weekend and weekday drinking and dining.
Churchill’s Cocktail Brunch will cater to weekend diners looking for an indulgent brunch menu, while The Finest Hour encourages workers to get out of their home office for their lunch hour, and enjoy the tranquil, outdoor setting of The Churchill Bar & Terrace as a perfect antidote to the grind of the working day.
Churchill’s Cocktail Brunch is available between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, perfect for a delicious weekend indulgence. Inspired by Sir Winston Churchill’s renowned love for a sumptuous breakfast and a morning tipple, the menu has been crafted by Executive Chef Roger Olsson, and includes six delectable dishes. Whichever dish is chosen, each diner will also enjoy the bar’s chosen craft cocktail of the week, or a choice of the finest champagnes and wines, included in the price of their brunch. Dishes include tributes to Churchill and his beloved wife Clementine, with ‘Sir Winston’s Treat’ comprising poached eggs, lobster hollandaise, smoked salmon and English breakfast muffin, and ‘Clementine’s Omelette’, combining chocolate, clementine segments and raspberry sorbet. Whether diners are looking for a light sweet bite or a truly decadent feast, The Churchill Bar & Terrace provides the perfect destination for a brunch with a difference, on its stylish and elegant year-round terrace, a hidden gem in the heart of central London. Heaters and cosy blankets ensure the terrace is warm and welcoming even in the cooler months.
For those workers who are continuing to work from home or in local offices, last night’s dinner and boring sandwiches can be replaced by a much more enticing menu at The Churchill Bar & Terrace. Adapting one of Sir Winston Churchill’s most famous and inspiring phrases, The Churchill Bar & Terrace are inviting workers to transform their typical lunch break into the ‘Finest Hour’ of their day – whether this means an extra productive session fuelled by fresh air and delicious food, or a well deserved midday break. Having previously implemented a no laptops rule to keep the bar a purely leisurely space, the bar is now inviting workers to join them in breaking their own rules, adapting to the new work from home landscape by allowing laptops throughout the day. Between 12 and 4pm every weekday, workers can swap their office for the bar and enjoy limitless coffee alongside a tasty lunch dish and a soft drink, over a two hour period. The outdoor environment is sure to revive spirits and boost brain power, and the luxe interiors provide a welcome change of scene from the four walls of the office, plus the strong WiFi and multiple power points make the bar and terrace stress-free spaces from which to work remotely.
As an additional benefit, given the bar’s location in Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, members of World of Hyatt loyalty scheme will receive triple points when dining at The Churchill Bar & Terrace until January 2021. Diners can sign up to World of Hyatt on the spot and at no cost, rewarding them instantly with points that can then be redeemed in any Hyatt hotel globally, and can be used for food and drink, and accommodation.
Churchill’s Cocktail Brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 4pm and costs from £11 depending on choice of dish, including one complimentary craft cocktail or glass of wine/champagne per person.
Finest Hour Working Lunch Menu is available on weekdays between 12 and 4pm and costs £25, including one lunch dish, unlimited coffee, and one soft drink over a two hour period
