‘Tis the season to be jolly/stressed/hungry/eating/shopping/drinking and celebrating. Throughout the festive season, Atul Kuchhar’s Mayfair restaurant, Kanishka is at your service to make this the most wonderful time of the year all the way through to next year.
Here’s a reminder of Kanishka’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve extravaganzas.
Christmas at Kanishka
There are six menus available to choose from this Christmas, including three vegetarian menus. All dishes created to excite the senses, Atul Kochhar’s food is a celebration of family, festivities, Indian tradition, colour and deep flavour that will turn any Winter’s day into a seasonal spectacular.
Diners may choose to go a la carte with The Merry Menu (£48pp) or The Jolly Menu (£65pp) or for something extra special, go for the Festive Feast (£85) the eight-course festive Tasting Menu.
Dishes for the Festive feast include Tandoori Lobster – Tikka Lobster tikka spice with Naga chilli, classic coriander chutney; Poora Haah – North East Indian style roast duck with moong khar and Chacklet Aur Rasmalai (v) – Cottage cheese dumpling in dark chocolate sphere, white chocolate malai.

Festive Cocktails
As well as fabulous food to feast upon, Kanishka’s expert bar team have also created some exceptional Christmas cocktails.
A Kanishka Sparkle – Spiced orange liqueur, Christmas spice red wine reduction and prosecco and a Christmas Martini – Apple and pear spiced gin, apple Vermouth, pear liqueur.
For those not drinking, there’s some stunning non-alcoholic creations including Rose and Cardomom – Rose and green cardamom syrup, ginger ale and Apple and Berry Sparkle – Roast apple and winter berry seedlip spice, ginger ale, ginger shrub
New Years Eve at Kanishka
Oh, what a night. The end of a decade, the beginning of a new should be celebrated with sensational food, wine, cocktails and music in one of London’s most glamorous spots. Kanishka has created two special New Year’s Eve menus including one vegetarian menu that will have you feeling full and satisfied whilst still absolutely party ready.
Enjoy Atul’s signature chicken tikka pie, cumin scented berry compote; Tenga lobster masala, Tingmo; and Gor rice pudding brullee to name but a few exquisite dishes on the menu.
As well as diners being able to choose three courses of their liking, each menu comes with a celebratory cocktail on arrival, petit fours, coffee and tea.
For those planning on bringing in the new year at home after a fabulous meal, there is an Early Bird sitting that is available between 5:30-7:30pm.

But that’s not all! The party goes on and hedonists of the night can join the party without having to book dinner. From 12:30-3:30am Londoners can walk in onto the Kanishka dancefloor, grab a glass of Champagne, some delicious bar nibbles and dance until their heart is content for those first few exciting hours of the decade.
