C&C Catering Equipment Ltd is delighted to share one of its recent projects at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. The world-renowned venue required catering facilities across two areas of The Members’ Brasserie, with a high standard expected to reflect the prestigious location, and C&C was proud to be involved.
Work was undertaken across the Main Kitchen and Bar area of The Members’ Brasserie, with C&C Catering Equipment Ltd also responsible for ripping out the old kitchen, and storing the equipment that was to be re-used and re-installed. Brands on the project included C&C Catering Fabrications, Rational, Thermodyne, and Falcon. The consultant on the scheme was Alan Brockington Catering Design, with Overbury as Main Contractor.
Careful time management was essential to ensure facilities were completed and operational leading up to Wimbledon Championship week, a highlight and the most prestigious event in the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club’s calendar.
Challenges on the project included ensuring all deliveries took place before 10am, which was carefully organised by C&C’s Luke Venables, and the added requirement of removing the existing facilities and making sure storage was coordinated for the items being re-installed.
Sam Clarke at Overbury commented on the scheme, “It’s good to hear from the consultant and head of food and drink for the club, how much they liked the space and the quality of product we have provided. It’s even better to know what we have provided almost sets the benchmark for what other projects should be aspiring to on the estate.”
C&C Catering Equipment Ltd’s Jack Phillips added, “It’s been fantastic to work at such a prestigious location and to have been involved with this project. The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club is an incredible scheme to add to our portfolio, and we’re delighted to have delivered works that has had such great feedback.”
