EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BIRMINGHAM COCKTAIL WEEKEND 2019

Back bigger and better than ever before, Birmingham Cocktail Weekend will be shaking up the second city this weekend. Celebrating five years, BCW returns for a bumper four-days, bringing together 50 of Birmingham’s best-loved bars for a festival like no other.

When is it?

From the moment the first venue opens on Thursday 11 July until the last venue closes on Sunday 14 July.

How does it work?

Cocktail-lovers can purchase a #BCW wristband for £10, which grants wearers access to £4 signature cocktails in venues across the city, as well as access to a line-up of exciting events that will take place over the four-day festival: from tastings to masterclasses and everything in between, they’re sure to keep you shaken and stirred.  The venues create a new exclusive cocktail which is created especially for BCW and served only for the weekend!

Where can I get a wristband?

On sale now, wristbands are available to buy from www.birminghamcocktailweekend.co.uk.

Where do I pick up my wristband?

This year, the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend Hub will be located at the Urban Rooms in the Mailbox, sponsored by headline sponsor, Maker’s Mark. The Maker’s Mark Hub at The Mailbox will be the starting point for cocktail-revellers, where they can grab their wristbands before heading out to explore the best of the city’s bar scene. Cocktail-lovers will be able to pick up their guidebook and map, so they can navigate their way around the city, sippin’ one signature cocktail at a time. It will also be a chance to try Maker’s Mark and get to know the bourbon brand.

Which venues are taking part?

Birmingham Cocktail Weekend will bring together 50 of the city’s best-loved venues! New for 2019, Nocturnal Animals, Bank, Fumo, The Rectory & 180 Club, Saint Paul’s House, Arch 13, Serve as well as Harvey Nichols Brasserie & Bar, The Vanguard at 1000 Trades, Opus Restaurant, Hotel du Vin and Be At One and so many more. A full list of venues can be found here.
