PPHE Hotel Group (“PPHE” or the “Group”), an international hospitality real estate group, is delighted to announce its debut premium boutique hotel, Holmes Hotel London, will open on 22 May 2019. This hotel will be PPHE Hotel Group’s first repositioned property for 2019.
Formerly Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes London, the hotel situated on London’s iconic Chiltern Street in Marylebone Village, has received circa £9.0 million investment to reposition the property. This includes the refurbishment of all new rooms and public areas to unveil a new luxurious brand identity and up-market boutique aesthetic.
The 5,499m² property comprises of four classic Georgian buildings over four floors. As part of the repositioning, the main entrance of the hotel has been moved from Baker Street to Chiltern Street, allowing customers easier access to Marylebone’s stylish boutiques, galleries and eateries. Holmes Hotel London’s interiors and ambience have been designed to echo the chic Marylebone Village as well as reflect the cultural and historic connection to Sherlock Holmes.
Contemporary facilities include 118 sophisticated rooms, three meeting spaces, a gym and all-day ‘Food for Londoners’ casual dining restaurant and bar, Kitchen at Holmes. Kitchen at Holmes is a new dining destination offering a seasonally inspired menu led by Head Chef Stefano Motto.
