Hospitality bedding specialist The Fine Bedding Company has bolstered its hospitality sales team with two new hires.
Toby Powell-Smith and Karen Culverwell both join the company to support its fast-paced growth and future development plans, bringing extensive sector experience to the burgeoning business.
Toby Powell-Smith takes up the position of Area Sales Manager for the South East with responsibility for raising awareness and growing the presence of The Fine Bedding Company in London and surrounding areas. Toby joins with four years’ experience working within the hospitality industry, with time spent at European textile solutions business and linen hire provider Berendsen UK and Cleaning Hygiene provider Ecolab.
Speaking about the role, Toby said: “I have a passion for working with hotels and look forward to supporting our customers by improving guest satisfaction through The Fine Bedding Company’s fantastic products and making the daily lives of staff easier through innovative solutions such as the Zip & Link Topper. I also have a passion for sustainability which The Fine Bedding Company excels in, both through its Smartdown duvets made from PET bottles and eco manufacturing credentials.”
Karen Culverwell has been appointed to the role of Area Sales Manager for the South/South West. Karen has more than 20 years’ experience within the linen and laundry solutions industry, also joining The Fine Bedding Company from Berendsen UK, where she managed lined hire within the hospitality and care home sectors. Prior to this Karen worked with a sales role at Sunlight Textiles and Initial services Plc.
Karen said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Fine Bedding Company Hospitality Division at such an exciting time.
