The Independent Hotel Show presented by James Hallam Insurance Brokers, returning to Olympia London on 16 and 17 October, is now open for registration. You are warmly invited to visit the Show, now in its seventh year and still the best loved and most established event for the independent, luxury and boutique hotel sector.
A carefully-curated collection of 300 premium suppliers presents design-led furnishings, innovative products and the latest technology to meet the needs of today’s hoteliers. Meanwhile an inspirational programme of seminars and panel discussions with industry experts is guaranteed to generate conversation and new ideas.
Following on from the success of last year’s Perfect Hotel Bedroom feature, a highlight of #IHS18 will be The Hotel Room of the Future, designed by Two’s Company Interiors. This will be an immersive installation and report presenting the hotel room of tomorrow, today.
Further new features for this year include the IHTechQuest, powered by NewBook, bringing together the boutique hotel industry’s most visionary and market-leading technology suppliers. Also new is The Meeting Space, designed by Galapagos, which will host facilitated networking sessions, making it easier for hoteliers to connect with their peers.
The Suite, designed by Valdivian, is the Show’s exclusive space offering hospitality to VIP hoteliers, speakers, partners and their guests. The Lobby, designed by Cappelini, is the central networking space at the heart of the Show.
The Seminar Programme, shared across two stages, the Business Theatre (design partner, sofa.com) and the Innovation Stage (design partner, Elli Pop) promises as always to provide sharp industry insight. A broad spectrum of professionals will speak in more than 20 seminars covering consumer trends, marketing, design, branding, tech, wellness and much more.
The show will also feature the celebrated Independent Hotelier and Outstanding New Hotel Awards which will recognise those who have made a significant contribution to the industry over the past year.
Commenting on 2018’s Show, Miranda Martin, Event Director at Independent Hotel Show says:
“This year’s Show is set once more, to bring the best of the UK’s boutique hoteliers and suppliers together for two-days of inspiring conversations and information gathering. As always, we and the Show’s partners are delighted to present exquisite aesthetics, experiential learning and the opportunity to network.”
