Spitfire Heritage Gin has launched in The Spirits Room at Knightsbridge department store, Harrods. The gin, which is made by master distiller and world champion gin maker John Walters, offers aromatic botanicals, including rosemary, borage, coriander, rose petals, orange, star anise, juniper and almonds and was created to celebrate the ATA ‘girls’ who flew Spitfires during WWII. The aviatrix pin up figure on the label is the work of the world number one aviation pin up artist, Frenchman Romain Hugault.
Spitfire Heritage Distillers created a unique boxed gift set for Harrods, complete with etched crystal glasses, Spitfire Heritage Trust pin and an accompanying booklet.
Ian Hewitt, one of the owners of the authentic 1930s single estate, small batch botanical craft gin, was delighted to have the brand accepted by the Knightsbridge store. He said: “We are incredibly proud to be stocked by Harrods so soon after launching our gin. Spitfire Heritage Gin combines romance, authenticity and flavour which justifies its position as one of Britain’s best artisan gins. ”
Spitfire Heritage Gin is a beautifully crafted, aromatic and refreshing gin built to be the best. It is distilled in Cambridgeshire.
