Clevedon Hall opens for overnight bookings for first time

Clevedon Hall is opening its 25 elegant bedrooms to the public for the first time for a limited period to showcase the beauty of the recently refurbished property.

The Victorian mansion, which normally functions exclusively as a wedding and events venue rather than a hotel, is making itself available for overnight stays for a two-week window from February 13 to 25th.

The ensuite double rooms are available for £95 to £180 throughout the two-week trial, which is designed to introduce Clevedon Hall to a wider audience.

The Grade II* listed building, overlooking Clevedon Bay, recently completed a six year £4.2 million refurbishment, which saw all the bedrooms redesigned in a luxurious country house style by Jane Clayton Interiors.

The ground floor rooms such as the Great Hall and Grand Library also underwent a transformation to return the hall to its former glory, with original historic features restored and furnishing in keeping with the property’s rich heritage.

Guests will enjoy an overnight stay in one of the unique bedrooms and breakfast the next morning, provided by Clevedon Hall’s Michelin-trained chef Alan Jones.

Surrounded by several acres of landscaped gardens, sweeping down to a lake, Clevedon Hall offers the perfect combination of history and modern luxury.

Bookings can be made directly via the website and through online booking agents Booking.com and Expedia.

John McCarthy, sales director at Clevedon Hall, said: “We’re really keen to showcase the beauty of Clevedon Hall to a wider range of guests.

“Previously, the only way to experience the delights of Clevedon Hall has been to attend an event here, which is why we wanted to run a short trial making our stunning bedrooms available for overnight bookings.

“Clevedon Hall is convenient for anyone doing business in Bristol or who just fancies a trip to this lovely corner of Somerset.”
