Pioneer Digital will be presenting an array of captivating digital signage solutions to Restaurant Tech Live visitors on stand 1216, taking place from 27th – 28th September at ExCeL, London.
Working alongside display manufacturer LG, Pioneer Digital will be bringing the ‘cool’ factor, quite literally, with LG’s Transparent Display Cooler Door. This is a refrigerator unit that has a transparent display as the door, so real products inside can be dramatised with engaging digital media.
When there is no content being shown, the display is completely see-through so that people can see the products inside. When the media plays, the products are interspersed with the graphics to bring them to life. This can be integrated with real time content such as sports results and social media or transformed into an interactive display to showcase product information.
The stand will also feature three 49” LG panels aligned in a landscape formation to create a Digital Menu Board (DMB) showcase. These will be alongside an 86” LG Ultra Stretch display in portrait, which with an 58.9 extended aspect ratio can feature multiple content feeds.
An LG 22” touchscreen will be demonstrating real time, interactive ordering through a digital order point interface and a LG High Bright outdoor display will showcase the possibilities for drive thru signage, promoting a complete paperless ordering system.
Paul Childerhouse, Managing Director of Pioneer Digital explains:
“Digital signage can be instrumental in enticing people into your restaurant or QSR environment, from initial external first impressions to creating the mood through esteemed lifestyle imagery once inside. It can also be used to encourage interaction, through people engaging with displays and can be the connector between the real and virtual worlds, displaying social media channels for example and therefore encouraging diners to take part in conversations, extending the online reach.”
