Group of luxury UK hotels launches new brand identity

Agroup of privately-owned luxury hotels has launched a new overarching brand for its portfolio – The Robert Parker Collection (RP Collection).

The group, which incorporates six properties across the north of England and southern Scotland, includes the four red-star Doxford Hall Hotel and Edinburgh’s Dalhousie Castle.

Owned by Robert and Gina Parker, the collection of country house hotels was started in 2008 with the purchase of Guyzance Hall near Alnwick in Northumberland. It quickly grew, in 2010 with the addition of two further properties in Northumberland – Doxford Hall and Eshott Hall.

Two years later, the group purchased Edinburgh-based Dalhousie Castle. In 2014 and 2015, respectively, Ednam House in Kelso, the Scottish Borders, and the Wordsworth Hotel in the Lake District, were added to the collection.

Robert Parker, said: “The idea behind the branding of the hotels as The Robert Parker Collection is to showcase and market the exceptional quality of the properties we have under the same umbrella.

“Each individual property is totally unique, and each retains its own individuality, however, from a customer point of view, The Robert Parker Collection brand is to become synonymous with the highest levels of customer service, food and accommodation.

He added that the collection fills a gap in the hotel market place within the areas it operates, stating that his aim is to expand the group’s portfolio

The RP Collection features 170 bedrooms, five restaurants, three swimming pools, 11 spa treatment rooms, 435 acres of land and 200 members of staff.
