Bodelwyddan Castle hotel in North Wales has relaunched following a £7m refurbishment to the property.
The recent developments to the hotel – owned by Warner Leisure Hotels – include 45 new garden lodges, an extension to its leisure suite lounge and a new glass atrium which ecompasses the property’s reception, lounge, bar, cabaret rooms and restaurant.
Designed by interior company Newman Gauge, the atrium was devised to create a new communal area, bridging the gap between the former reception and cabaret buildings and the adjacent accommodation block.
Claire Fletcher, general manager, said: “It’s a very exciting time for us at Bodelwyddan Castle as we expand the hotel and its offering to cater to the demand from our guests for more entertainment and lounge spaces including the new glass atrium, a state of the art, beautifully designed piece of architecture bringing together the old and new, providing a space for guests to relax and enjoy a morning coffee.”
Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Leisure Hotels, added that the £7m investment will allow an additional 10,000 guests to stay at the hotel each year.
