Electrolux Professional has announced that it will be holding a free event dedicated to establishing sustainable and efficient processes in the hotel environment.
Split into two parts, the ‘Sustainable Trends in Hospitality’ workshop will demonstrate how hoteliers can maximise productivity with the help of the latest innovations in foodservice and laundry equipment.
The company will outline sector-specific solutions for independent hotels and medium-sized chain establishments at the event, which takes place on Wednesday 23 September at its Center of Excellence in Luton.
The first session will cover efficient breakfast service, followed by a live high productivity demonstration on theatre cooking and conference catering, before concluding with a workshop on banqueting for events.
The afternoon session will then see the laundry portion of the event introduced, beginning with a demonstration on using Electrolux’s brand new Lagoon Advanced Care wet-cleaning system for soft furnishings, staff uniforms and guest services.
This will be followed by a talk on obtaining guaranteed results from laundry control systems, before a hands-on session on using labour-saving ironers for sheets bedding.
Darren Lockley, head of region for the UK and Ireland at Electrolux Professional, said: “We place great importance on the need to stay in touch with the key issues in each industry sector, and our dedicated segment managers are continually working to ensure that Electrolux anticipates these needs.
“This event will give us the opportunity to share our expertise with those working in the hotel industry, and show how this can help to make the task of maintaining excellent levels of service and hygiene that bit easier.”
