“Vine Hotels Welcomes Bournemouth’s Hotel Collingwood”
The hotel has been owned by Michelle and Eytan Krips for over nine years, who have restored and refreshed the historic elements of the property, and it will continue under their ownership. The origins of the hotels’ Victorian buildings are steeped in local history surrounding the original owner Sir Dan Godfrey, the founder of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra 125 years ago. ‘Conservation, restoration and reinvention are at the heart of what we do, and we are passionate about ensuring that we deliver the best guest experiences. We are excited to be working with the team at Vine Hotels to further develop our business and showcase our venue to a wider audience.’ says Eytan Krips.
Garin Davies, Vine Hotel’s CEO, said: ‘I am delighted that we will be working with Hotel Collingwood. Firstly, its location is a huge asset. It is just a five-minute walk from Bournemouth Pier and seafront, with its seven miles of beach, it offers easy access to the town centre and is only 400 yards from Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), making it ideal for both business, group leisure and private leisure travel.
‘He added: ‘Plus this beautiful property offers both character and a fresh, modern charm, alongside an excellent team. We look forward to working with them all in the coming months to place The Collingwood firmly on the map.’
